On ADOREVINTAGE.com I saw these two gems! The first is a 1920s clutch with a fabulous pattern and a cool mosaic on top.
This dress would get you laughed out of any party if you wore it as-is... HOWEVER-- if you're handy with a sewing machine, take off the sleeves and maybe draw down the neckline and you'll have a sparkly, ORIGINAL, vintage party dress for Christmas or New Years. I stumbled across this site, which promotes fair-trade products by small business owners all over the world. Please consider purchasing holiday gifts this year from Ten Thousand Villages, or any number of other fair-trade sites... hell, even better-- support your local businesses and buy something made in the USA! There are amazing things out there that are not made in China.
I'm over the moon for this "rising snowdrops" cardigan from Anthropologie!
Anthro, also does this online "DIY" shop where you can make your own personalized charm necklace. I love love love this for holiday gifting!
