Bethany Joy will Perform at CATS for Cats Charity Event


The “Memory” of the first CATS for Cats celebrity charity event still fresh in their minds, friends of felines have a song in their hearts as Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats announces the lineup of animal-loving luminaries who will croon Andrew Lloyd Webber’s kitty-themed ditties to help homeless cats in the L.A. area.
The gathering of glitterati who will step into the roles of Grizabella and the rest of the Jellicle cats gang at The Orpheum Theater on July 14th will include:
Keith David (the voice of Dr. Facilier in the Disney animated move The Princess and the Frog)
Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four)
Bethany Joy Lenz (from The CW’s One Tree Hill)
Janel Parrish (form the ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars)
Paul Vogt (MADTV)
Steven Weber (Wings, the Hallmark original movie Duke)
Fred Willard (Everybody Loves RaymondBest in ShowWALL-E) who will portray T.S. Eliot, who pennedOld Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, upon which the Broadway musical CATS was based.
Owain Yeoman (from the CBS series The Mentalist)

Proceeds from the ‘purr’formance will benefit Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, an all-volunteer animal rescue non-profit cat rescue which uses the TNR (trap/neuter/release) method to help feral cat colonies in the city and teaches feral kittens the socialization skills needed to find forever homes.
When: July 14, 2012 at 8 p.m.
